About the service
GCEO Group® provides ophthalmology education and related resources for patients, residents, optometrists and eye-care professionals. Some features require a registered account. We may add, change, suspend or remove features as the service develops.
Educational information, not individual care
Website content, videos, cases, calculators, estimates, templates and other tools are provided for general education and information. They do not provide a diagnosis, patient-specific medical advice, or a substitute for professional judgment, examination, current evidence, local protocols, or discussion with a qualified eye-care professional. Clinical decisions remain the responsibility of the treating professional. Patients should seek timely medical care for urgent symptoms.
Accounts and security
Provide accurate information when registering, keep your credentials confidential, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account, except where applicable law provides otherwise. You may close your account through the account page or contact us for assistance.
Acceptable use
Use the services lawfully and respectfully. Do not attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the site or another person’s account; upload malware or unlawful material; misuse contact forms; or copy, redistribute, or commercially exploit content except where GCEO Group or the rights holder has authorized it or applicable law permits it.
Intellectual property and third-party content
The website’s design and GCEO-created materials are owned by GCEO Group or used with permission and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party names, links, publications and resources remain with their respective rights holders and may be subject to separate terms. A link to an outside service does not mean GCEO Group endorses or controls it.
Availability and disclaimers
We work to keep the service available and accurate, but features and content may change, be delayed, or contain errors. To the extent permitted by law, the services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without guarantees that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited.
Suspension and changes
We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably needed to protect the service, other users, or comply with law. We may revise these Terms by posting an updated version here. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms to the extent allowed by law.
